Y: or you can say dian4 shi4.
B: dian4 shi4. How do I say “I like watching TV” in Chinese?
Y: it’s 我喜欢看电视。
B: Wo2 xi3 huan1 kan4 dian4 shi4. 
Y: wo3 means I,
B: wo3,
Y: xi3 huan1 means like doing sth,
B: xi3 huan1.
Y: kan4 means watch,
B: kan4, 
Y: dian4 shi4 is TV,
B: dian4 shi4.
Y:我喜欢看电视。
B: Wo2 xi3 huan1 kan4 dian4 shi4.  I like watching TV.
